5 Elements of a Signature Talk

A great signature talk is not just a good story on a stage.

It has a job to do.

It should grab the right person's attention, teach them something only you can teach, prove that what you're saying works, and give them a clear next step when the applause stops.

So, quick gut check:

5 Elements of a Signature Talk

  • A clear hook that names your audience's #1 struggle

  • A unique framework that is your method, not someone else's

  • A story that proves it works

  • A clear offer/CTA so they know exactly what to do next

  • Repeatable enough that you could deliver it 100 times without it getting stale

Now score yourself.

How many do you have right now?

Drop your score below: 5/5, 3/5, 1/5... whatever it is. No pretending you have it nailed if you don't. πŸ˜‚

We're going to start fixing the gaps together this week.

Stacey Lauren of Do the Thing and I chatted this morning about what the Playground is, what being on a team means for the Future of Leadership event, and how you can play! So fun, I seriously love this community πŸ’•
